The Whale Shark and
Manta Ray Dives:
A little further a field and to the
south of Phi Phi are the dive sites of Hin Muong and Hin
Daeng. We access these by speedboat
and the trip takes about one hour.
During the dives it is quite common to see
whale sharks and manta rays. The sites are made up of pinnacles,
some submerged
completely, others just protruting from the surface. This
site features the deepest drop-off in Thailand with depths
of
70 metres.
 The diving here is amongst the best in Thailand
- pelagics often visit, including enomous baracudu and large
tuna. Whales
sharks and manta rays, other shark species and large
sting rays also visit
these waters.
